On 7 May 2024, the outgoing Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Mariëlle Paul, and the State Secretary for Culture and Media, Fleur Gräper-Van Koolwijk, visited Amsterdam’s Our Lord in the Attic Museum. The reason was the recent granting of the European Heritage Label to the museum.
The Minister and State Secretary were offered a guided tour of the museum and spoke with the museum staff. Part of the visit was devoted to a meeting with secondary school and special needs students who participated in the museum’s educational programme, Voices of Tolerance. The students were curious to find out more about the politicians’ views, experiences and tips. The visit concluded with the unveiling of the European Heritage Label plaque on the museum’s façade.
