The European Heritage Label is a mark of recognition given to heritage sites of special symbolic value for Europe. Such sites may have played an important role in European history and culture, or in European integration.

At present, 67 sites across Europe carry the European Heritage Label. Together they form a network that embodies European values such as human dignity, democracy, equality and solidarity.
All European Heritage Label sites are open to visitors and provide information in multiple languages. Many also organise activities for young visitors.
